An environment with an amazing biodiversity

The Poggio Neri Forestry Park is rich in flora and fauna.

In the park there are more than 200 species of birds including peregrine falcons and, during their migration, long-eared owls.

Instead, the mammals we can encounter include roe deer and wild boars, foxes, porcupines, hedgehogs and weasels…The Park’s dense woodland mainly comprises chestnut trees, holm oaks and oaks.
