This museum is the place where the talent of one of Campiglia Marittima’s most illustrious sons, the painter, wood engraver and artist, Carlo Guarnieri, can be admired.
Known in art circles as “the unrivalled master of Italian wood engraving”, Guarnieri is certainly our local icon of the narrative and poetry of the last century’s Bohemian and romantic “Tuscanness”, a son who is to Campiglia what Modigliani is to Livorno.
