How to reach the Parks of Val di Cornia
The Parks of Val di Cornia are located 80 km south of Livorno and are crossed by the SS1 variante Aurelia main road that connects Rosignano to Civitavecchia.
They are sign-posted on the SS1 at junctions:

Piombino

Il Castello di Populonia
One of the attractions of Piombino is the medieval castle of Populonia, perched on the top of the headland, facing the Gulf of Baratti.
